UTE AVE Trinidad: TBM assembly (12 m.)

Trinidad Ave TBM
The work of unloading, pre-assembly and assembly of the tunnel began in September.
In September we proceeded to unload the TBM S-444 from Germany.
To download use was made of a telescopic truck crane LTM 1400 model with a capacity of 400 tons. The crane was placed in the collection area for one to one go downloading the pieces, placing them strategically for the subsequent assembly of the same.

The download is complete, we proceeded to the preliminary assembly of the TBM cars before taking them down the well.
This was done using a 60-A600C model crane crawler Tn. In this way the pieces of the collection could be hizadas moving it by crane to load up the car.
TBM Preassembly
Finally we have proceeded to the assembly itself. This was done using two tracked machines, the LR 1550 LR 1280.
